At Calton Primary & Pre-School we encourage children to be happy, confident and learn to their best ability and to this end we help them to develop self-confidence, to understand their interdependence on each other and to respect everyone of other cultures, beliefs and ways of life. Play is a vital part of this and we are committed to providing opportunities to explore play.

We are very proud of achieving Platinum Award for OPAL at Calton Primary & Pre-School, only 5% of schools have this award.
