Book Fair – A huge thank you !
We want to say a massive thank you to all our families for supporting our Book Fair this week. Thanks to your enthusiasm and love of reading, we raised an incredible £585.81 in free books for our school! Additional copies of books have been ordered and will be delivered to ready to go home on Monday 3rd November. Thank you for all the fabulous Book Review entries and well done to the five raffle winners! Happy reading, everyone!

Year 6 Residential Updates
Day 1 A fantastic first day on residential. The wet weather didn’t hold us back and children have been creating shelters and building fires. Burgers, S’Mores and singing around the campfire was a great end to Day 1. Day 2 Whittling, weaving, wilderness trek… Y6 have been discovering some woodland wonders. Majestic oak trees, shy deer and a treasure trove of conkers have been highlights of the adventure. First aid skills were put into practice saving Mr Holton and Miss Jenkins in an aircraft disaster. Calton Minibus
We had a very exciting delivery at school this week. Our very own minibus! You may have seen it parked in the staff car park, it’s very big and silver and has our school logo on it. There are 16 seats and some of the staff are now going to be trained to drive it. Nick from Pied Piper Appeal came to present the minibus to us and some of our KS1 children got to be the first to see it. Gloucester City HAF
Holiday Vouchers – make sure you claim yours if you are eligible. The holiday vouchers are designed to support the families of eligible children in reception to year 11 who receive Pupil Premium (income-related) free school meals and attend a school in Gloucestershire. Gloucestershire County Council is committed to supporting families with 2 weeks of vouchers at £15 per eligible child, per week for the Summer 2024 holiday.
